Our last release of 2020, Old Town Bells is a temporary departure from our indie funk sound with a homecoming folk song of birth, marriage and death led by Conor's mandolin and Dom on acoustic. Pay what you like.
The second solo single from early summer lockdown. Pay what you like to download.
My first solo track for 3 years, I wrote and recorded this song during the first few weeks of lockdown isolation when the sun was shining, the city was peaceful and I was alone in my studio every day. I had no band around so just had fun with the music, played everything myself and tried to make a sunny upbeat summer feelgood track. The lyrics are just about keeping the one you love in mind while they are away. Download for free.
Our latest single is the story of an outsider having to try twice as hard as the crowd to be accepted. It was finished during the long hours of lockdown isolation while the Mustard Seed Studio was empty but retains the live energy of the recording date and improvised UK Jazz outro. We think its the best definition of our sound yet. Pay what you like and all profits will be donated to anti-racist causes.
If you prefer your songs with just acoustic guitar and lashings of melodica check out the acoustic version to go with latest single Castaway. Pay what you like. Follow both Dom Clark Trio and Dom Clark Spotify profiles to get the full band and acoustic and solo work. Released 03/5/20.
